The Controller is the “brain” of your scooter. It delivers electricity to the motor in a very fast “switched” or “pulsed” fashion - a method more efficient than older style “brush” motors. The controller is the single most important part of your scooter - but the thing you’ll think of the least. When battery levels get low, the controller will let you know by lowering your top speed.
The Battery is the “fuel tank” of your Jules Electric Scooter. The Motor and Controller exist simply to transfer the energy contained in the battery into motion that will move your scooter forward. The battery is the new “Lithium Ion Battery”, a very common type found in motorcycles, automobiles, and many electric vehicles. They are inexpensive and uncomplicated in their function, generally reliable, and safe.
